s &OOTWEAR )NSIGHT ^ *ULY!UGUST FOOTWEARINSIGHTCOM When shopping for footwear, how important is the sit and fit experience at the store? Very important - it determines whether I buy a shoe there or just go online. It won't make or break a sale for me, but a positive experience will sway me to want to return as a customer. It's important if I'm trying a new brand or style. If it's something I've worn before it's not important bc I know how they fit and look. Important for purchas to insure comfort and fit. It is very important. Without it, you risk of not liking the shoe the moment you need to actually start wearing it. Very important. If I put a shoe on and it doesn't feel comfortable right away I won't purchase them. Important, because I like to make sure the shoes will fit me properly and I like to make sure they will also be somewhat comfortable before actually buying them. Sitting isn't that important. Walking is! Some!, but I prefer to have time to try on shoes without pressure of a Salesperson trying to maintain a sales quote ,who have no interest in my well being and my footwear needs. Very important in the the store to shop, so you can fit the shoe perfectly. Depending where I'm buying depends on How important it is to me. Athletic shoe buying the sit and fit is crucial. You need someone with expertise to help you weigh the pros and cons of the shoes you are trying on. Very important for performance footwear. Not important for casual footwear. I need to feel comfortable being there. Helped but not smothered. It's a nice area to try on a shoe. Nothing too Comfortable so you don't stay too long lol. Only important if buying a technical specific shoe (like running), or a high end designer shoe (over $300 or $400). I have purchased online many times and am happy as long as returns are an option. Sit & Fit is helpful but not essential to me. I think it's important to have someone available whenever needed, but enough seats to try things on for yourself. If I'm looking for a new brand of running shoe, it's very important. I want someone to take the time and help ensure a good fit. If I'm looking for something other than a running shoe (gym or casual), that's not as important. Extremely important. All shoes fit a bit different. Mostly Ease of finding my size and the mirror. Don't care if there's a person helping me. First screen is appearance. If it's ugly, I won't try it on/pick it up. If it's attractive, I'll try it on. If the fit is poor, I wont' buy. For me, not totally important. I am a get in, get out type. I want to try my shoe on, have it fit amazingly, buy it and leave. What's important to me is a seamless process. A bit important, I want them to feel and fit great before i leave Not very important. Unless I specifically ask the salesperson for their opinion on the fit, I prefer to be left alone. It depends 100% on the intended use case. If it is for casual use I feel confident in selecting my own shoes. If it is for a performance need or specific use case I try to go to a retailer that specializes in the product to make the most informed decision and have the best product experience.
