Forma lly known as Project Milestone, t hei r f iv e -y e a r i n it i a t iv e i nv olv e s t he construction of five 3D-printed concrete homes. R esembli ng a dobe a rch itect u re with a futuristic flair, the buildings will be pr i nted at t he ca mpus of Ei nd hoven University of Technolog y and moved to a lush green landscape. A s t he project comes t o f r u it ion , t he collective in charge of creation and con- struction is simultaneously sketching out plans for the future of these cost-effective home s . A s t he t e c h nolo g y pr o g r e s s e s , the buildings may one day include smart wireless sensors placed into the wa lls of each structure.
