MCCC Workforce Training Solutions | 2018 Fall Internet of Things (IoT) B I P C T 1 3 1 0 - I N T R O D U C T I O N TO I N T E R N E T O F T H I N G S This is a short introductory course on the Internet of Things (IoT) and introduces the concepts and challenges of the transformational IoT economy and the concept of a network foundation connecting billions of things and trillions of gigabytes of data to enhance our decision making and interactions. Course modules describe how IoT drives the convergence between an organization's operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) systems and the business processes for evaluating a problem and implementing an IoE solution. Students will understand the values and benefits of the emerging IoT technology and can leverage their technical and business knowledge into IoT-related functions in the workplace. Students will learn how to use Microsoft Office Access to organize, structure and manage data and Microsoft PowerPoint to create presentations using automated tools, modify slides, slide masters, and print and deliver presentations in diverse organizations of every size. Students will save workbooks as web pages, insert and edit hyperlinks, and save a workbook as a PDF file. This course also covers advanced charting techniques, worksheet auditing and protection, file sharing and merging, and workbook templates.
