2013 Papa Luigi: A Big Success More than 225 guests attended the 14th annual "A Night with Papa Luigi," a masquerade ball held March 2, 2013, which raised more than $28,000 for the Huron Regional Medical Center Foundation. Local "celebrity" waiters dressed in ball gowns, tuxedos and a wide variety of decorative masks to raise money for HRMC's maternity unit. "We had an incredible response from the community both with advance ticket sales and the night of the event," says Tom Light, HRMC Foundation board member and committee chair. "We are so thankful for everyone who attended, helped and showed their support of HRMC through their generosity." Funds raised through dinner tickets, tips and donations will help the hospital purchase birthing beds for the maternity unit.
