Golfing to Give Huron Regional Medical Center Foundation's 14th annual Humanitarian Golf Tournament, held Saturday, Sept. 7, at Broadland Creek National Golf Course, raised more than $33,000. The tournament is one of two major HRMC fundraising events held each year, with proceeds going to fund ongoing projects, including: • construction and renovation needs • new diagnostic, medical and surgical equipment • new services, patient care and educational programs • HRMC Foundation scholarship program More than 100 sponsors and 31 teams contributed to the success of the event. "We had a great turnout and a nice day for this year's tournament," says Paul Rann, executive director for the HRMC Foundation. "I am very impressed with and grateful for the support and generosity shown by all of the participants, sponsors and volunteers." We appreciate our community!
