The December 5 meeting will be combined with the Heart Failure Support Group and will begin at 5:30 p.m. Compassionate Friends » January 9, February 13, March 13 Compassionate Friends is a self-help support group that meets the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Redmond Regional Lower Level Classroom. The bereavement support group is for parents, grandparents and siblings of children who have died at any age and of any cause. WINTER 2013-14 Community calendar for Redmond Regional Medical Center WELLNESS WORKS Redmond Regional Medical Center's monthly physician-led educational seminars are returning for 2014! Classes will be held on the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Lower Level Classrooms at Redmond Regional. New this year: Light refreshments will be served. The seminars are still free, but seating is limited. Please make your reservation for each individual seminar you wish to attend by calling 706-368-8480. These are great opportunities to hear physician speakers as well as to get your questions answered during the Q & A sessions. A preview of the list of topics for 2014 follows. Enjoy a heart-healthy Weekly Heart Health Education Series Cosponsored by Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC), these sessions are designed to help you manage your heart health by focusing on wellness and prevention. Each topic will also incorporate activities led in part by GNTC students in the departments of culinary arts, horticulture, nursing, massage therapy and more. Sessions are held every Tuesday evening in February (Feb. 4, 11, 18 and 25) at 5:30 p.m. at Georgia Northwestern Technical College.
