Girl Talk Highlights CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System's first LiveWell Girl Talk event featuring dining, wellness, and fashion was a smashing success. The Saks Fifth Avenue wing of North Star Mall was buzzing with more than 300 Girl Talk attendees on October 24, 2013. They sipped wine, enjoyed hor d'oeuvres, and perused fall fashions. Featured retailers included Six:02, Brighton, Christian Dior from Dillard's, Victoria's Secret, and Saks Fifth Avenue. The soothing sounds of guitarist Galo GutiƩrrez provided background music, and the AVEDA Institute offered tips, demonstrations, hand massages, and free samples. Hosted by Cynthia Lee from KABB-Fox, Q&A sessions with CHRISTUS Santa Rosa physicians representing obstetrics/ gynecology, family practice, plastic surgery, urology, and cardiothoracic surgery allowed many of the participants an opportunity to ask their most pressing health questions. Chef Keith Williams showed off his healthy cooking skills with a quinoa salad for guests to sample. Door prizes from a variety of retailers were awarded throughout the event, and the evening ended with a grand prize drawing for a $250 North Star Mall gift card. Brother Cletus Behlmann commemorated the night by presenting a mural that was donated to the Friends of CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Foundation for auction.
