Ossama Elsaccar, MD, has joined the West Virginia University (WVU) Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He specializes in minimally invasive gynecological surgery. He earned his medical degree at the University of Cairo and completed obstetrics and gynecology residencies at El-Galaa Teaching Hospital and The Reading Hospital and Medical Center. At the University of Tennessee Medical Group, he completed a minimally invasive gynecological surgery fellowship. Dr. Elsaccar's special interests include laparoscopic and robotic man- agement of ovarian cysts, laparoscopic and robot-assisted hysterectomy, and hysteroscopic surgery. Dr. Huseynova specializes in open and endovascular surgery. She earned her medical degree at Azerbaijan Medical University and completed a general surgery residency and a vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Toronto, Canada. Dr. Huseynova's special interests include end-stage peripheral arterial disease, prevention of major lower limb amputation, thoracic aortic pathologies, and abdominal aortic pathologies and connective tissue disorders leading to vascular disease. Dr. Richter's special interests include stereotactic and functional neurosurgery and surgical treatment of epilepsy. He is board-certified in neurological surgery.
