STRAZ CENTER FOR PERFORMING ARTS Indulge your creative side with a night at the Straz Center, where you'll find live entertainment in the form of opera, jazz, theater, comedy, and concerts. While you're there, feed your body and soul by dining at one of the Straz Center's fine dining eateries prior to showtime, and if you're feeling particularly adventurous, sign up for an adult theatre or dance class, which provides a great opportunity to meet new people and foster a new skill. For more information about all the Tampa Bay area has to offer, visit visittampabay.com. THE FLORIDA AQUARIUM At the Florida Aquarium, you and your family can enjoy a wide variety of exhibits featuring aquatic life from the wetlands, coral reefs, the world's oceans, and the local bay. Other fun features include viewing the pen- guins, swimming with the fish, and splashing about at Explore a Shore—a nearly two-acre outdoor water park. Scuba divers age 15 and older can get the thrill of a lifetime by participating in Dive with the Sharks, which allows guests an opportunity to enter the coral reef exhibit and swim with sharks. Cap off your Florida Aquarium experience with a quick bite from the onsite Cantina bar and grill. MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND INDUSTRY Have you ever wanted to create your own invention or travel to the moon? At the Museum of Science and Industry, you can! The Southeast's largest science center, Tampa's Museum of Science and Industry features more than 450 interactive exhibits that span more than 400,000 square feet. Prepare for a natural disaster by learning the science behind weather events, and gain a better understanding of your own body at The Amazing You human body exhibition. End your day with a visit to the Saunders Planetarium, and spend a few peaceful minutes recharging your batteries while gazing at the stars. Enjoy Yourself— It's Good for You! Taking time to enjoy new or favorite experiences can help you keep a more positive life outlook and retain a cheerful attitude, both of which promote better health. If you find yourself shying away from new experiences or no longer participating in activities you once enjoyed, it might be time to speak with a mental health professional. The skilled professionals at HCA West Florida provide behavioral services throughout the region for a wide range of issues, including depression and anxiety.
