Becky Benson never expected to hear the words
"aggressive cancer" from her local doctor.
Luckily, one of the nation's highly rated cancer
centers was in West Virginia, just a few short
miles away from her home. Becky was able to
enroll in a clinical trial which stopped her cancer
from spreading. Her cancer has been in remission
for more than four years and Becky is enjoying life
with her family and grandchildren.
Since 1990, the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer
Center has led the fight against cancer in West
Virginia. With its nationally recognized programs
of cancer treatment, research, and community
outreach, the Cancer Center has benefited
countless adults and children in our state.
Now, we're partnering with cancer specialists
throughout West Virginia to create a clinical trials
network that will help advance the fight against
cancer even further.
