Phillips 66 Bayway Refinery will be recognized by the Trinitas Health Foundation during its annual spring gala, "Passion for Our Patients," May 8, at The Venetian in Garfield, N.J. Phillips 66 Bayway Refinery will receive the Celebrating Philanthropy Award for its efforts both as a corporate funder and through its generous and long-supporting employee base. During the evening, 28 residents from Trinitas Regional Medical Center will also be honored with the Humanitarian Award. Long-time Trinitas friend and supporter, N.J. Burkett, Channel 7 WABC National Anchor and Broadcast Journalist will emcee the "Passion for Our Patients" gala dinner and dance. Gala guests will enjoy a sumptuous dinner, the opportunity to bid on a wide variety of desired items, including trips and one-of-a-kind experiences, in the silent auction and several chances to win with the very popular 50/50 cash raffle. Proceeds from the event benefit Trinitas Regional Medical Center and the patients it serves in Elizabeth, Central New Jersey and state - wide. In 2013, nearly $450,000 was raised for the medical center's facility, equipment and program needs.
