Huron Regional Medical Center is designated a Level IV Community Trauma Hospital by the South Dakota Department of Health. South Dakota administrative rules define trauma team requirements for hospitals, including the maximum time between the arrival of a trauma patient and the arrival of the members of the trauma team.
