Dr. Scheirer has served on the hospital’s Physician Advisory Committee for Informat- ics and the Clinical Systems Committee and currently serves on the Patient Care and Transitional Care Committees as well as on the Executive Committee of the Medical Staff. He is clinical assistant professor of medicine at Jefferson Medical College and is a physician champion for the Pennsylvania Improving Performance in Practice (IPIP) initiative. He has assisted IPIP with quality improvement data analysis and serves as faculty member in a collaborative aimed at improving statewide colorectal cancer screening rates.
