Skin cancer screenings are non-invasive exams that
are quick, but vitally important. Cost: $5
FREE Prostate and Colorectal Cancer Screening
October 20; 6-8 p.m.
December 1; 6-8 p.m.
This screening is open to men who are age 40 and over
who have never had a PSA blood test and have no
previous diagnosis of prostate cancer. You must register
at least 4 days before screening to receive special diet
instructions.
Women's Colorectal Cancer
Lecture and Screening
November 3, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Learn about ways to prevent colorectal
cancer, including vitamin intake,
hormone use, and dietary guidelines.
Everyone should get screened for colorectal cancer
annually after age 50, or earlier if there is a family history
of cancer. You must register at least 4 days before
screening to receive special diet instructions. Cost: $10
FREE! Kidney Early Evaluation Program
(KEEP) Screening
Thursday, November 6; 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
If you have a family history of diabetes, hypertension or
kidney disease, consider attending the Kidney Early
Evaluation Program (KEEP) Screening. Offered in
conjunction with the National Kidney Foundation of
Greater New York, the program offers participants a
variety of information to determine your likelihood of
developing kidney disease.
