Specialists provide cutting-edge surgical approaches to a wide array of thoracic diseases, such as thoracic malignancy, benign esophageal disorders and chest wall deformities. While this may significantly reduce the need for patients to travel to New York City for diagnostic and surgical care, to facilitate treatment of more complex procedures (for example, lung transplant), the team provides patients a direct connection to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
