Hilel Frankenthal, MD, a pediatric critical care physician, joined Mercy Clinic Children's Critical Care, where he will care for patients in the pediatric intensive care unit at Mercy Children's Hospital. He earned his medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, New York. He completed a pediatric residency at Children's Hospital at Downstate in Brooklyn, New York, and a pediatric critical care fellowship at the University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital. Nicholas Greiner, DO, a family medicine physician, joined Mercy Clinic Family Medicine — Hazelwood. He earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri, and completed a family medicine residency at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. Layla Hajjafar, MD, MSc, a gastroenterologist, joined Mercy Clinic Digestive Disease — Lake St. Louis. She earned her medical degree from Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine in Rootstown. She completed an internal medicine residency at Case Medical Center in Cleveland, where she also completed both a gastroenterol - ogy and a liver transplant fellowship. Abhilasha Jarori, MD, an internist, joined Mercy Clinic Adult Hospitalists and will care for hospitalized patients at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. She earned her medical degree from Indiana University in Indianapolis, where she also completed an internal medicine residency. Zeina R. Karam, MD, a nephrologist, joined Mercy Clinic Nephrology in Washington, Missouri. She earned her medical degree from the American University of Beirut in Beirut, Lebanon. She com - pleted an internal medicine residency at Saint Louis University and a nephrology fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago. Thomas H. Landon, MD, a urologist, joined Mercy Clinic Urology in Washington, Missouri. He earned his medical degree from Finch University in Chicago and has also completed a urologic surgery residency. Gregory P. McLennan, MD, a urologist, joined Mercy Clinic Urology in St. Louis. He earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed a urology residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. Carl N. Peters, MD, a family medicine physician, joined Mercy Urgent Care and will be caring for patients at Mercy Urgent Care lo - cations throughout the St. Louis area. He earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia and completed a family medicine residency at David Grant USAF Medical Center/University of California-Davis at Travis AFB, California. Jason A. Shanker, DO, an emergency medicine physician, joined Mercy and will care for emergency room patients at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. He earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri, and completed an emergency medicine residency at CHRISTUS Spohn in Corpus Christi, Texas. Amanda J. Sileo, DO, a family medicine physician, joined Mercy Clinic Family Medicine — Wentzville. She earned her doctor of osteo - pathic medicine degree from A.T. Still University — Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri, and completed an internal medicine residency at Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis. Srikanth Thalakoti, MD, a child neurologist, joined Mercy Clinic Child Neurology in St. Louis. He earned his medical degree from the Gandhi Medical College in Pradesh, India. He completed a pediatric residency at Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center and a child neurology fellowship at Saint Louis University Hospital.
