and Hope Sharing Their Story of A DAY OF EMPOWERMENT While Bill and Giuliana Rancic's inspiring personal journey will serve as the central narrative of the CHRISTUS LiveWell Women's Conference, the day will provide a variety of opportunities for women to enhance their mental, spiritual and physical health through a day planned just for them. As the first winner of The Apprentice, entrepreneur Bill met Giuliana on the set of E! News, where Giuliana was an anchor. The two married in 2007, and their love grew in front of the cameras on their reality show, Giuliana & Bill, which wrapped its seventh season last summer. When the two decided to start a family and experienced fertility problems, Giuliana underwent in vitro fertilization treatments in early 2010. Later that year, she was diagnosed with breast cancer through a fertility-related mammogram. At age 36, Giuliana bravely underwent a double mastectomy. She and Bill continued to struggle with infertility before starting their family with the help of a surrogate. Their son, Edward Duke, was born in 2012.
