"We provide an excellent level of care right here in our community, to our friends and family. We provide the highest level of care possible, and you don't have to travel far to get it." — Jessica Kietzman, Director of Oncology Services at King's Daughters' Health Cancer Center FAQs Our new Cancer Treatment Center opened its doors on Feb. 23. Here's everything you need to know about scheduling a visit. Where is the new center located? The center is attached to the main hospital, located at 1373 East State Road 62, Madison, Indiana 47250. Moving here from our downtown location makes it more convenient for patients who need cancer treatment as well as treatment for cancer-related illnesses at the hospital. But most importantly, the new center is close to where our patients live – no one should have to travel for hours to get treatment at such a difficult time. What oncology services are provided? Chemotherapy and radiation treatments are currently available to patients, and our radiation therapy services were recently enhanced with the acquisition of a new linear accelerator that delivers treatments much more quickly and efficiently. How many treatment rooms are available throughout the facility? The new center features seven infusion bays and two private infusion rooms. What's the best way to contact or schedule an appointment with a specialist? Call (812) 801-0603 to schedule an appointment or with any other questions you may have. ■ For more information about cancer care at KDH, visit www.kdhcancercare.org.
