I am personally inspired by a young student athlete, featured on page 3, who
worked with the surgeons at CHRISTUS Orthopedic Specialty Center and
Beaumont Bone & Joint Institute. In the article, Kennedy's mother describes
her daughter's active role in her health care decisions and, after three successful
surgeries, Kennedy is back on the field and headed to play college ball this fall
season! Way to go, Kennedy!
