W hile in my home office, I paused to go through a few of my dad's belongings and take some time to reflect. I picked up his clip-on necktie that I have seen in many old photos, then I picked up his watch. I could feel the wheels still turning inside the timepiece and surprisingly hear it steadily clicking the seconds away. As I contemplated, I reflected on my father's life on this earth, allowing myself to be enlightened by the power of his spirit that lives on today. I did not feel sad. Instead, I was flooded with overwhelming joy, a fullness in my heart brought on by memories of my father. He made the most of his time while he was here. We are often waiting for the right time to do things that bring us joy or fulfillment. So often we forget that every minute offers an opportunity to make our vision reality. The time to act is now.
