4 Spring 2015 Inspira Health Network Family & Friends + You What do most women want when they come for an imaging test? Comfort, convenience, privacy and expertise, plus interactions with compassionate, knowledgeable people who do everything possible to make the experience easy, fast and free of stress. Whether you are undergoing routine screening or a diagnostic test, Inspira women's imaging centers have the technology and expertise you can trust to get a clear picture, every time. Into a New Dimension The newest technological advance in breast imaging is three-dimensional (3-D) mammogra- phy, also known as tomosynthesis. "For patients, tomosynthesis looks and feels the same as traditional mammography, but it takes images of the breast in one-millimeter-thick slices," said KeLea Exel, R.T. (R)(M), mam - mography and DEXA supervisor at Inspira Medical Center Vineland. "This gives us a clear picture of the breast to spot any abnormalities or calcifications that could be cancerous." Inspira women's imaging centers use 3-D breast imaging to help diagnose whether a breast abnormality is cancerous. Powerful New Imaging X 3 Pinpointing problems with precision, 3-D mammography delivers highly detailed images that facilitate early detection of breast cancer. This exciting advanced imaging technology is now available at three Inspira Health Network locations: • Inspira Women's Imaging Center Mullica Hill Commons 155 Bridgeton Pike • Mullica Hill, NJ 08062 • Inspira Imaging Center Tomlin Station 201 Tomlin Station Road • Mullica Hill, NJ 08062 • Inspira Medical Center Vineland 1505 West Sherman Ave. • Vineland, NJ 08360 To schedule an appointment at any of these locations, call 1-800-INSPIRA (467-7472).
