Whether you're planning on taking advantage of the season by getting active in the beautiful outdoors of San Antonio or gearing up for a family vacation outside the area, we encourage you to practice safe and healthy habits. We are always happy to share an inspiring patient story, especially when complex medical conditions and treatments are involved. Six-year-old Chevelle Sandoval and her family didn't have much of a Christmas season to celebrate last year when a respiratory condition kept her in the Hospital for several months. Thanks to leading-edge treatment and the compassionate dedication of the Children's Hospital of San Antonio's medical staff, she is back home and enjoying all the things she loves again. We offer more details about our transformation, particularly the completely renovated seventh floor of the Hospital, now home to the Cancer and Blood Disorders Center outpatient clinic. These changes enhance the sense of ease and overall convenience for families that this transformation strives to achieve.
