Teen Childbirth Preparation Pregnancy preparation speci cally addressing the unique needs of young people ages 19 and under. $60/couple or FREE with Provider One/DSHS card. Breastfeeding Preparation Covers basic breastfeeding initiation tips and accessing postpartum lactation resources. $50/couple. Newborn Preparation and Care This one time class includes topics such as postpartum care of mom and baby, hints for adjusting to new roles, basic newborn care and resources. $50/couple. Safe Sitter Babysitting training for adolescents that discusses topics including emergency preparedness and child care. $75/person. CPR and Infant Safety Learn basic life-saving skills for infants and children and ways to childproof your home. $60/person; $90/couple. Safe Baby 411 (O ered at St. Joseph Medical Center only) This private, three-hour class includes CPR and infant safety strategies, including car seat safety, car seat installation supervised by a Certi ed Child Passenger Safety (CPS) Technician and an Infant CPR Anytime® kit. $200/couple. Balance After Birth Postpartum Support Groups In collaboration with Postpartum Support International, these drop-in support groups are a welcoming, non-judgmental space for new parents to discuss emotional changes and challenges.
