In October 2009, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano launched the Emergency Room (ER) 30-Minute Promise, a pledge to provide ER patients with a wait of no longer than 30 minutes after sign-in. Since the launch, Texas Health Plano has consistently received praise in the areas of patient satisfaction and staff and physician communication in the ER. Texas Health Plano, which also features an Advanced Level III Trauma Center and has accreditation as a Cycle III Chest Pain Center, is committed to ER efficiency to provide continuously excellent care for its patients. When Time Doesn't Heal All Wounds DALLA S TX Wound Care Services at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano offers care for patients suffering from chronic wounds and wounds that have not healed after an extended period of time. Chronic wounds, frequently connected conditions such as arthritis, diabetes, and heart failure, can increase an individual's risk for infection and can lead to amputation if not properly treated. Wound Care Services offers outpatient treatments, such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy, that serve to heal chronic wounds and restore patients back to full health.
