October 8 • 2015 59 Proghovnick 50th M arsha and Larry Proghovnick of Southfield celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 19. Their children are Ronna and Drory Yelin, and Tracey and Eric Edelstein. Their grandchildren are LilaRose Yelin and Drew Edelstein. They had a gathering of family and friends and took a family vaca- tion at the end of September. Veres-Arden J ojo Arden and Jozsef Veres were recently married at the Victorian Wedding Chapel in Waterford. Rabbi Marla Hornsten officiated. Jojo was accompanied to the chuppah by her parents, Dr. Sidney and Lynn Leib. Shoshana Arden was the matron of honor. Dalia Rubenstein was a bridesmaid. Blake Rubenstein served as ring bearer. Ava Feldman was the flower girl. Jojo and Jozsef were thrilled to have Rick, Denise, Amanda and Alissa Arden, and Ronnie Leib also participate in the cer- emony. A March honeymoon is planned and the couple will reside in West Bloomfield. Friedman-Kelman K aren Kelman and Paul Chaben of West Bloomfield and Stephanie and Howard Friedman of Marlboro, N.J., are thrilled to announce the upcoming wedding of Samantha Kelman and Jeffrey Friedman. The farm wedding will take place in Ann Arbor on Oct. 24; the couple will be married by Rabbi Daniel Horwitz. Sam and Jeff moved from New York City last year to open Cycle & Row, a boutique fit- ness studio in West Bloomfield. Sam is also a marketing director for Ronald Lauder's water treatment company in NYC. She holds her undergraduate business degree from the Ross School of Business at U-M. Jeff recently joined the Ford Motor Company as a manager of global strategy and corporate development.
