A patient with severe aortic stenosis who formerly would have been deemed too
high-risk for an open procedure gained new hope when he underwent transcatheter
aortic valve replacement (TAVR) at Via Christi Hospital St. Francis' hybrid operating
room in September. It was a milestone for Via Christi's Structural Heart program.
