All net gift shop proceeds benefit patient care. Hospital. Working in Ambulatory Care, Spiritual Care, Communications and Marketing, Patient Access, Community Health, and more, volunteers support the hospital, patients, and visitors. Hospice Care. These volunteers support Hospice Care patients and their families on the end-of-life journey, providing companionship visits and respite care. Senior Companions. Senior Companions, through a partnership with Lutheran Social Services of Minnesota, are volunteers age 55 and older who visit with those age 60 and older in their homes. Volunteers' interests and experiences are matched to an area of service. Volunteer hours are flexible and tailored to the individual.
