In fact, recent patient satisfaction scores, as reported by Press Ganey, an independent organization responsible for surveying our patients after discharge, reports that our scores are among the highest in the nation. We are truly committed to "Putting Patients First" by providing the best care in the area. You will be pleased to know that this ongoing focus on delivering high-quality care resulted in the achievement of several notable awards and recognitions. e aforementioned Press Ganey gave its "Guardian of Excellence Award" to our Ambulatory Surgery staff, now honored for the second year in a row. In addition, we were awarded the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association's "Get With the Guidelines - Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award." You will also read about the outstanding care from the team in our Comprehensive Cancer Center and their achievement of the three-year accreditation from the NAPBC, the organization that recognizes only the finest and highest-quality providers in the nation. Dr. Feingold has joined us from NewYork-Presbyterian/ Columbia University Medical Center. Federspiel, President NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital CORNER Daniel L. Feingold, M.D. Physicians' Daniel L. Feingold, M.D., FACS, FASCRS, a board-certified general and colorectal surgeon, recently joined the staff of NewYork-Presbyterian/ Hudson Valley Hospital. Dr. Feingold com- pleted his general surgery training at Barnes-Jewish Hospital at the Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri, and NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center. He completed his colorectal surgery fellowship at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and a surgical oncology fellowship at the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Maryland. A member of the Division of Colorectal Surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical School for more than a decade, Dr. Feingold brings the Hudson Valley a wide range of colorectal surgery expertise, including laparoscopic and minimally invasive colorectal surgery, muscle preserving anal fissure surgery, and transanal endoscopic microsurgery. Since 2012, Dr. Feingold has been listed as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor. He is a frequent lecturer about colorectal surgery at national surgical conferences and is widely published.
