"He has built a legacy of ensuring that high-quality, compassionate care is available to the communities he serves." Carrier has nearly 40 years of healthcare experience. He has been the CEO of a 30-bed rural hospital, and a 900-bed inner city hospital. Patrick has a distinguished 15-year record of service within CHRISTUS Health, having served as CEO of various CHRISTUS Health regions and divisions. Most recently, Patrick served as Senior Vice President of Group Operations, overseeing 11 hospitals in San Antonio and Corpus Christi. Prior to assuming that role in February 2015, he served as President and CEO of CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System, which includes four adult hospitals, a children's hospital and free-standing emergency rooms. Please welcome Patrick and his wife, Renee, to Santa Fe and to CHRISTUS St. Vincent. as President & CEO In October, the CHRISTUS St. Vincent Board of Directors selected Patrick Carrier to succeed Bruce Tassin as the next President & CEO of CHRISTUS St. Vincent. On September 15, 2015, CHRISTUS St. Vincent celebrated the 150th Anniversary of being founded by the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati, ending a yearlong celebration of the hospital's longstanding history of Care + Compassion in Northern New Mexico. The week kicked off with the Hospital's participation in the Fiestas de Santa Fe Parade, where several Associates rode on the float through downtown. Later that week, we hosted a special brunch for the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati, who shared several stories about their time in the hospital over the years. Then hospital Associates and visitors celebrated with cake in the lobby. Later that evening, the hospital was honored with a special Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi. The week culminated with the St. Vincent Hospital Foundation's annual gala, which was held this year downtown on the Plaza. The event also featured a special concert featuring The Mavericks.
