reasonable cost. They 've done just that by contracting with
St. Vincent 's for bariatric surgery.

In 2000, 57% of a ll physicians in the US worked for
themselves. Now, that number is 36%. To ha lt this trend,
six of the largest independent medica l groups with 800+
physicians in the northern ha lf of Ohio recently formed the
Ohio Independent Collaborative (OIC).
