Meet Our Newest Providers These providers aren't the only new additions for Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center: in early October, Claxton-Hepburn broke ground at the new location of the Madrid Health Center, which opened in early January. Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center's newest additions improve the level of care in the community in several important disciplines. Honeylee Agustin, MD, FAAP, pediatrician at Claxton-Hepburn, enjoys helping parents realize their child's potential and the small-town dynamic of getting to know her patients and their families. "The practice of pediatrics is a partnership between the pediatrician, parent, and child," says Dr. Agustin. "Pediatrics isn't just about treating childhood illness, but it's about creating the most ideal environment for the child to grow well physically, mentally, and socially." Dr. Agustin earned her medical degree and performed her residency in pediatrics at the University of the Philippines, along with a residency in pediatrics at Elmhurst Hospital Center in Elmhurst, NY. She has board certication from the American Board of Pediatrics Ross Dickstein, MD, pain management specialist at Claxton-Hepburn, says pain management takes a team approach. He wants people to know they don't have to accept living with constant pain. "I was drawn to anesthesia because of immediate impact I could have on patients' pain and comfort," says Dr. Dickstein. "I enjoy helping people and wanted to look after them over a longer term, so that attracted me to pain medicine." Dr. Dickstein earned his medical degree at the University of South Florida College of Medicine and completed his residency in anesthesiology and fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. He has board certications from the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Medicine. Srinivas Ketharaju, MD, obstetrician and gynecologist at Claxton-Hepburn, is an advocate for the well-being of women who take care of everyone else in their lives while putting their own health last. "Obstetrics and gynecology is a specialty that lets me become a part of the happiest moments of my patients' lives, which is extremely rewarding," says Dr. Ketharaju. "I get to be a part of my patients' lives over time, get to know them, and build a relationship with them." Dr. Ketharaju earned his medical degree at Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, and he completed his internship at King George Hospital, Visakhapatnam, A.P., India, and his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in Bronx, NY. He has board certication from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Additionally, we've also added these new mid-level providers. If you're looking for a new physician, visit www.claxtonhepburn.org, select "Education & resources," and then "Find a physician."
