Welcome to the first edition
of Health Matters, Columbus
Regional Healthcare System's
new community newsletter.
We are so pleased to be able to
share information about your
local hospital and health system,
including new and expanding
services, patient stories,
improved technology and the many ways in which
our organization gives back to the community.
The winter edition of Health Matters includes
the hospital's community benefits report. As an
important member of the community, we make it
our mission to provide exceptional care and ensure
that care is available to all of Columbus County
and the surrounding area. Access and quality are
essential to remaining your provider of choice and
a trusted partner in healthcare.
We are also pleased to share many of the
ongoing projects that we are investing in, including
the expansion of the Donayre Cancer Care Center
and the addition of a new magnetic resonance
imaging suite. Be on the lookout for our expanding
Urgent Care service and other new and exciting
programs, including a new pediatric clinic.
I am very proud to be a part of the Columbus
Regional team. We have a great staff of healthcare
professionals and outstanding providers who
are dedicated to delivering the highest quality of
care possible. We look forward to serving your
