From Amasa, you'll meet Carlyn Raduechel (Page 9), who recently underwent total ankle joint replacement surgery. You'll read how brain surgery saved the life of a Northern Michigan University freshman after his fall from a cliff at Presque Isle (Page 10). You will also meet a Houghton college professor who utilized the UP Health System Brain and Spine Center for successful spine surgery (Page 11).
