She and her husband, Jacob, opened e Juicery last May in Madison. While Karynthia was studying for a Masters in Nutrition, working as a personal trainer, and experimenting in juicing, she discovered how cold-press juicing can bring better nutritional value, better taste and shelf-life to these high-powered drinks. Today she is putting what she learned into practice in her own business, e Juicery. With a convenient location and tasty juice combinations, e Juicery is a great way to get that boost of nutrition and healthy fuel for busy people. Juices, raw almond milks, smoothies, acai bowls and even salads are available to enjoy at the shop's location, or take them with you to enjoy at home orwork. To start the business, Jacob, who was already familiar with Redstone Federal Credit Union's Business Solutions through his mobile application development business, came to RFCU for e Juicery's start-up loan. RFCU's Business Solutions team consulted with the Birminghams, reviewing plans, assessing needs and offering many solutions beyond the loan, such as business online banking, business bill pay and depositing checks remotely. "e quick turnaround from business account to an SBA loan was amazing," Jacob said. "Redstone Federal Credit Union turned out to be way more than a bank, they are a reliable small business financing institution." e Birminghams have learned a lot while building e Juicery and recommend other entrepreneurs stay flexible during the start-up process, yet stay true to their values and belief in their product. ey couldn't be happier standing by their dream to bring cold- press juicing to North Alabama. Juicery The Karynthia Birmingham dreamed of bringing beer juicing experience to North Alabama. Thanks, in part, to support from Redstone Federal Credit UnionĀ®, that dream has come true.
