ON THE FACES OF PEDIATRIC
PATIENTS ON THEIR WAY TO SURGERY.
SURGERY CAN BE a source of anxiety for any adult and downright
terrifying for a child, but Connecticut Children's Medical Center
has adopted an imaginative way to help alleviate kids' fears. At
Connecticut Children's, kids having surgery wave as they drive
ride-on electric vehicles to the operating room. It's a little thing that
means a lot to these children in need of a surgical procedure.
The members of Hartford Healthcare Federal
Credit Union (HHFCU) are pleased to support
this initiative with an annual commitment to
provide a brand new ride-on electric vehicle
for the kids going into surgery at Connecticut
Children's. Working with Credit Unions for
Kids

, and the Children's
Miracle Network Hospitals
®
,
HHFCU also participates in
membership fundraising
drives, where 100 percent
of every dollar donated
by credit union members
goes to the Connecticut
Children's Medical Center.
