Only 131 companies or organiza- tions worldwide, representing 54 industr y sectors and 21 nations, earned a place on the Ethisphere Institute's 2016 list, including seven health care providers. University Hospitals ACO was selected as one of nearly 150 re - newing Medicare Shared Savings Program ACOs. It will be one of 434 ACOs par ticipating in the Shared Savings Program as of Jan. 1, 2016. Beneficiaries seeing healthcare providers in ACOs always have the freedom to choose doctors inside or outside of the ACO. ACOs receive a por tion of the Medicare savings generated from lowering the grow th in health care costs as long as they also meet standards for high quality care. UH Parma Medical Center is offering CPR training to city officials and employees in Parma, Parma Heights, Brooklyn, Brooklyn Heights, Nor th Royalton, Seven Hills, Independence, Broadview Heights, Newburgh Heights and Cuyahoga Heights through a CPR Training Challenge. To reinforce its mission in building lifesav - ing communities, the hospital will award grant money to each of these 10 municipalities based on the number of city officials and employees trained and cer tified in CPR by June 1. The grant money is to be invested in advancing health and wellness. UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital is one of only 12 chil - dren's hospitals in the countr y — and the only one in Ohio — to receive the Top Children's Hospital distinction from The Leapfrog Group. The selection is based on the results of the Leapfrog Group's annual hospital sur vey, which measures hospitals' performance on patient safety and quality, focusing on three critical areas of hospital care: how patients fare, resource use and management structures in place to prevent errors. Western Reser ve Hospital has par tnered with the city of Cuyahoga Falls to launch the Wellness Station, which allows us - ers to privately monitor and track their impor tant health numbers, including blood pressure, pulse, weight, blood ox ygen levels and more for free right from the main entrance of the Natatorium. The Wellness Station features a large, flat screen display and incor- porates the latest touch screen and inter face technology.
