DEXA SCANNER
UPDATE
CHI Mercy Health
Auxiliary Donates
Equipment to
Physical Therapy
Department
Our new replacement
DEXA scanner checks
bone density levels,
giving our Radiology
Department an
important tool to help
patients better manage
bone health, specifically
osteoporosis. Purchased
with funds raised at the
20th Annual Festival
of Trees Gala, the
technology has received
the highest praise from
patients and staff, says
Stephanie Mayfield,
Foundation/Mission
Director at CHI Mercy
Health. It's a real asset
to the people of Barnes
County.
Donna Smith, Rehabilitation Director, along with Physical Therapists Grant Goven
and Kyle Gregerson and Physical Therapist Assistant Julie Halgrimson would like to
extend a very special thank you to the hospital Auxiliary for their generous donation
of a hydrocollator to the Physical Therapy Department.
We understand all the time and hard work that was involved with raising the funds
to purchase this equipment and want to thank you for your generosity.
