ANTHONY HOSPITAL Whether you need assistance managing diabetes or just a resolution to your cold and u symptoms, the Family Clinic has someone who can help. "We accept appointments for routine health exams and chronic disease manage- ment," says Cheryl Pearce, MSN, RN, NE-BC, CPHQ, director of the Physicians Clinics at CHI St. Anthony Hospital. "Women can also see our women's health nurse practitioner, our OB/GYN, and our lactation consultant." New providers joining the Family Clinic include Lohith Reddy, MD, internal medicine physician, and J.D. Ward, DO, OB/GYN, who will be at the Women's Health Center on the second oor of the medical oce building. Courtney Travis and Lacey Wilson are new nurse practitioners who will see walk-in patients at the clinic. KNOWING WHERE TO GO "The clinic is the best place to get care for most illnesses and smaller injuries," Cherylsays. "Walk-in visits tend to focus on one specic problem like a sore throat or aminor injury." Wounds that need immediate attention, heart attack and stroke symptoms, or head injuries with loss of consciousness, along with other urgent health situations, should be addressed by calling 911or going to the CHI St. Anthony Emergency Department. "Providing patients with guidelines about where to get care for their illness or injury helps us serve them more eectively," Cheryl says. "We're here to provide care at the Family Clinic when you need it." CHI St. Anthony Hospital Family Clinic is now open to walk-in visits seven days a week, with appointments available Monday through Friday with some weekend appointments.
