JOSEPH HEALTH Find a Doctor, Make an Appointment Celebrating If you have diabetes or are trying to reduce your risk of developing it in the future, you can implement small lifestyle modications. Changing the way you eat is an easy way to manage your diabetes or pre-diabetes. Try these tips for boosting your health: Cut the sugar. Reduce your sugar intake by amping up recipes with spices like cinnamon, cardamom and vanilla and almond extracts. You can often cut sugar portions in recipes by 1/3 to 1/2 of the suggested amount.
