Once again, we examine the world-class health care available right here in Central New York. This issue, our cover story is on the expanding practice of The Heart Group of Syracuse. The Falk Breast Health Center is the area's first program to be designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR). This designation is awarded only to breast imaging centers that actively meet and exceed the stringent requirements put in place by the ACR. The center is also accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers, an honor bestowed by the American College of Surgeons.
