"It can help prevent or control chronic conditions, such as heart disease, high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, and certain types of cancer." To make regular exercise easier, our Young People's Healthy Heart Program partners with 17 local organizations each year to host ON THE MOVE. The 2017 annual wellness event began on January 1—just in time for New Year's resolutions—and runs through April 15. Registration costs $15. This fee includes: a T-shirt and $5 coupon for fruits and veggies the opportunity to sample yoga and dance classes unlimited participation in group walking sessions, hand weights and exibility classes held Monday through Friday at the Hi-Liner Activity Center.
