COMMUNITY NEWS 8 CHRISTUS St. Vincent President and CEO Elected to New Mexico Hospital Association Board of Directors Patrick Carrier, CHRISTUS St. Vincent president and CEO, has been elected to the New Mexico Hospital Association's (NMHA) board of directors. NMHA is a leader in addressing issues that affect the health of the citizens of New Mexico. Carrier continues to serve on the NMHA finance committee, which has been directly involved in communicating with New Mexico state government about important public policy issues such as the state Medicaid budget and protecting access to care. "We are absolutely delighted to have Pat Carrier's vast health care administration expertise and additional support as a member of our board," says Jeff Dye, president and CEO of NMHA. "Pat has been a valuable resource on our finance committee over the past year." Mr. Carrier's term of service began on Sept. 28, 2016 and will run until Sept. 27, 2017. CHRISTUS St. Vincent associates purchased a total of 888 new winter coats for area schoolchildren as part of the hospital's 26th annual "Cozy Coats" campaign, held in early November of last year.
