Updates and changes include: Fresh homepage design • Cleaner & easier to navigate - Removed left hand list of services - Relocated video center - Limited “What’s News” section - Cleaned up main navigation along top • “I need more information about” drop-down menu (new feature) • Request for appointment (new feature) • Classes on homepage (new feature) • Patient Portal w/patient registration (new feature—coming soon) Find a Physician • Search improvements • Appointment Request within module • Get Directions with maps (new feature) • Randomized in search • More information regarding physicians (i.e., gender & other locations) Mobile site—m.centrastate.com (new feature) Mobile app—Physician Finder (new feature) • Go to m.centrastate.com and click on “Physician Finder” to download Spend ‘An Evening In the Vineyards’ The CentraState Healthcare Foundation will be hosting its 11th annual “An Evening In the Vineyards” winetasting and fundraiser for multiple sclerosis research on Friday, Sept. 7, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus. The event will include a sampling of more than 70 fine wines, craft beers, spirits and hors d’oeuvres from around the world. The proceeds of this event are dedicated to the Linda E. Cardinale Multiple Sclerosis Center located in CentraState’s Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus. Ticket price is $150 per person, and sponsorship opportunities will be offered. Last year, 480 people were in attendance, and the event raised more than $188,000. CentraState Receives Chest Pain Accreditation CentraState recently earned international recognition as an Accredited Chest Pain Center by the Society of Chest Pain Centers (SCPC)—an organization that assists facilities in improving cardiac care processes. Hospitals that receive the SCPC accreditation have achieved a higher level of expertise in dealing with patients who arrive with symptoms of a heart attack. CentraState earned accreditation after a rigorous review by the SCPC and demonstrating its implementation of standardized diagnostic and treatment programs that provide more efficient and effective evaluation as well as more appropriate and rapid treatment of patients with chest pain and other heart attack symptoms.
