The carbon dioxide drags alcohol into your bloodstream at a faster rate and enhances the effects of alcohol on your body. Hitting the H 2 0 too hard during a grueling workout can lead to a condition called hyponatremia. The condition can cause confusion, headache, nausea and vomiting, fatigue, muscle weakness, cramps and, in severe cases, may lead to seizures or a coma. Fruit is a tasty source of vitamins and minerals that helps your body stay properly hydrated. An apple is roughly 80 percent water and has nearly 200mg of potassium. According to the Journal of Biological Chemistry, 83 percent of your lungs are water, a higher percentage than any other organ in your body. While the average adult body is 50–65 percent water, we start life at 78 percent. BEFORE AND AFTER exercising tells you how much water weight you lost during your workout.
