The Unity Health Foundation was formed in 1997 and will
celebrate its 20th anniversary this year. Formerly known as
the White County Medical Foundation, this organization was
created to help ensure future growth. It is a not-for-profit
corporation established as a charitable organization to
provide support for the hospital.
Throughout the years, Foundation funding has been used
to purchase state-of-the-art equipment, renovations and
specialized projects to help enhance patient care.
The most recent campaign, "Miracles
Happen Every Day," focuses on benefiting
the New Life Center at White County
Medical Center. Through the funds that
have been raised, a fetal monitoring
system has been purchased, as well
as equipment for the nursery, and
improvements have been made in
patient rooms.
The Unity Health Auxiliary is composed of more
than 175 members who volunteer their time
and talents to fulfill the needs of the hospital
and patients.
During the formative years of its existence, the
Auxiliary had 65 members. Today, many members
serve diligently through assisting patients, greeting
visitors and working in campus gift shops. Auxilians
donate more than 35,000 hours of service to
Unity Health each year.
Having won numerous awards from the Arkansas
Hospital Association, Unity Health Auxilians
are known far and wide for their devotion and
dedication.
The Unity Health Auxiliary helped kickstart the New Life Center campaign,
"Miracles Happen Every Day" with a pledge of $200,000.

Nov. 1, 2013, and everyone in attendance who had been born at
Unity Health — White County Medical Center, joined for a photo as well
as a "Parade of Miracles," showing the importance of the New Life Center.
