My absolute favorite thing to do during this time of year is to work in my yard—my own little piece of earth. It fills me with pure joy to watch my hard work produce beautiful flowers and plants I can enjoy for months, as long as the slugs and snails hiding in my flower beds don't kill them first. Even cutting the grass with my old push mower can be stress-relieving after a long day and gives me a sense of accomplishment. ANDY GUEST CONTRIBUTOR There is something to enjoy in every season, but I can only stand so many cups of hot chocolate on dark, cold rainy days before I am ready for some sunshine! Spring, for me, is like spending time with a very happy friend you haven't seen in a while—I end up walking around with a goofy grin on my face and enjoying every moment. Tennis, long runs in the sun and driving with the windows down are all part of the fun of getting reacquainted with my favorite season. I would write more, but the porch, my kids' laughter and a tall glass of lemonade are calling my name. JULIA MORGAN WRITER The spring and summer months bring longer days, bright colors, beautiful blooms and spring fever! I absolutely love when everything begins to bloom and the grass turns that bright shade of green again. I especially love taking my dog on a walk with my husband after work. This is a great way for us to enjoy the beautiful spring scenery together, and we have found it to be a great stress reliever while getting a bit of exercise. I love that it is still light outside when we come home, too. I am pretty sure my pup loves this time of year just as much as we do!
