from the ceo My daughter got married a few weeks ago. She was a beautiful bride, and the wedding was a great celebration. I learned through this experience the responsibilities of the father of the bride: to show up, shut up and pay up. I can proudly though painfully tell you I met my responsibilities. Those of you contemplating the great blessing of children will enjoy this issue of Connect magazine. Turn a few pages, and you’ll find information about our exceptional Obstetrics Services at Cartersville Medical Center. We have comments from Dr. Ben Warren and Nurse Midwife Kim Millsap that I know you’ll find helpful as you anticipate your “special delivery.” Enjoy the experience, but be warned: They grow up quickly! We’ve also included several pieces about the cancer screening, treatment and support services available at Redmond Regional Medical Center, Cartersville Medical Center and The Hope Center, our high-tech cancer treatment center located right on the Cartersville Medical Center campus. We’re proud to offer the finest cancer screening services available, and these screenings enable us to diagnose cancer early, when it’s most treatable. When we do identify cancer, we provide our oncologists and surgeons with state-of-the-art equipment, technology and support to treat it aggressively and give you, our patient, great hope in beating this disease. Our high-tech resources are not limited to treating cancer.
