Auxiliary Raises the Bar Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center is dedicated to providing high-quality care close to home. This May, the Claxton-Hepburn Auxiliary donated $125,000 to the Foundation for a variety of upcoming projects. “Each spring, the Auxiliary contributes to the Medical Center at our annual dinner,” says Ramona Kennedy, auxiliary liaison at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center. “Donations are collected throughout the year during numerous events, including book fairs, jewelry sales, craft fairs, and the Festival of the Trees, which raised $49,000 alone.” Of the $125,000 donated, $100,000 will go toward a future capital project, $20,000 will be used to renovate the auditorium, and $5,000 will help fund the Breast Health Center.
