Each of these students showed exceptional scholastic and personal achievements deserving of these awards. Good luck on your bright futures in healthcare! A third Hummingbird Scholarship of $400 was also awarded to a deserving CHI St. Francis Health employee who is enrolled in the North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS) nursing program. Congratulations to Emily Guzik (center) for simultaneously working and continuing her nursing education! The Hummingbird Scholarship fund is made possible by the generosity of the Kastelle Family. It was founded in memory of Darlene Kastelle, who enjoyed watching hummingbirds, and was a resident in the CHI St. Francis Health St. Francis Nursing Home.Due to the exemplary care Darlene received from a CHI St. Francis Health CNA, the family established a scholarship fund for CHI St.Francis Health sta working toward their nursing degree at NDSCS. The Hummingbird Scholarship is awarded annually. CHI St. Francis Foundation Gives Back For many years, CHI St. Francis Health has awarded scholarships to students in our large service area. This year, the CHI St. Francis Health Foundation was able to award two area high school seniors with $1,000 each to pursue their education in health care.
