WHAT DO YOU LOOK FORWARD TO MOST ABOUT THE HOLIDAY? Andre EDITOR Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on what you are thankful for. I am thankful for time spent with my family and, of course, the delicious food my family creates. The one dish I look forward to all year long is my MeMe's homemade dressing. She makes her famous family dish with corn bread, chicken broth, onions, eggs, bread, butter and other ingredients that are secret. It is the taste of perfection. Maggi EDITOR When the Thanksgiving season arrives, the one food I look forward to the most is my Aunt Stephanie's sweet potato casserole. She has made it every single year for Thanksgiving dinner as far back as I can remember. With its rich, buttery taste and gooey marshmallow topping, it is the perfect combination for my taste buds. I have had plenty of other sweet potato casseroles, but none can top my Aunt Stephanie's! Juli Morga WRITER While I am not a huge fan of the traditional Thanksgiving foods, I love my mom's green beans! Instead of the traditional casserole, she makes fresh sautéed green beans dressed with a sweet and salty mixture of fresh bacon bits, brown sugar, Dijon mustard and brown butter shallots—topped with toasted almonds. These are truly the most delicious green beans that I have ever put in my mouth.
